Highland Park police blotter for Feb. 14, 2013

The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Highland Park Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.
DUI
Peter Yakes, 38, of the 1000 block of North Avenue, Lake Bluff, was charged Feb. 10 with driving under the influence and open transportation of alcohol after a police stop on the 300 block of Skokie Valley Road. Yakes also was cited for driving an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal lane use. His court date is March 15.
Maurice O’Regan-Reidy, 43, of the 3500 block of N. Wilton, Chicago, was charged Feb. 4 with driving under the influence. O’Regan-Reidy also was cited for illegal lane use after police responded to a driving complaint on the 1500 block of Skokie Valley Road. His court date is March 1.
Benjamin Najera, 42, of the 1200 block of Jackson Court, North Chicago, was charged Feb. 11 with driving under the influence after police stopped his vehicle on the 3300 block of Skokie Valley Road. Najera also was cited for illegal lane use and driving on a suspended license. He is due in court March 15.
Alejandro Magallanes-Cambron, 25, of the 300 block of Oakwood Avenue, Waukegan, was charged Feb. 10 with driving under the influence after a police stop on the 1300 block of Half Day Road. Magallanes-Cambron also was cited for driving on a suspended license and an illegal turn. His court date is March 15.
DRUGS
Fernando Cambron, 26, of the 900 block of Park, Waukegan, was charged Feb. 10 with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Cambron was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped on the 1300 block of Half Day Road. He is due in court March 4.
BATTERY
Jeffrey Keys, 31, of the 2000 block of Joppa, Zion, was charged Feb. 5 with disorderly conduct and battery after police responded to a complaint from Metra conductors on the first block of St. Johns Avenue. His court date is March 13.
