Olympic gold medalist Matt Grevers will serve as an honorary chair this Saturday at the Great Lakes Adaptive Sports Association Gala event. According to Swimming World Magazine

“It was very humbling when I was asked to be an honorary chair for GLASA’s gala red carpet event. The number of lives they’ve touched is incredible, and I feel fortunate to be part of such a wonderful cause.”
Throughout the evening, Grevers will share how he got into swimming along with the importance of GLASA. The six-time Olympic medalist will also sign autographs and pose for pictures.

Serving alongside Grevers as co-chairman is U.S. Paralympian Alyssa Gialamas. Gialamas is a member of the Paralympic National Swim Team and is a 12-time American record holder. Both Grevers and Gialamas grew up in the Chicago-land area.
