Families can put their balls in motion and play tennis, basketball, raquetball and wallyball at Family Tennis Night at Deer Creek Courts in Highland Park on May 17.

Take your kids to court for a great evening. They’re bound to learn a thing or two at Family Tennis Night, 6-8 p.m. Saturday, May 17 at Deer Creek Courts, 701 Deer Creek Pkwy., Highland Park.

“Our Family Night is loads of fun,” said Jenny LaGuidice, assistant head tennis pro for the Park District of Highland Park. “We will have one of our Deer Creek tennis professionals here to direct tennis games and basketball and wallyball.”

The indoor facility has six tennis, four racquetball and two wallyball courts with bright indirect lighting for great visibility.

Kids and parents who love golf can brush up on those skills, too. “We offer an indoor driving range in one of our racquetball rooms,” LaGuidice reported.

All that activity is bound to work up appetites so pizza and beverages will be served at around 7:30 p.m.

The cost is $10 per person or $30 per family. Reservations are required.
