“Escape Fire: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare,” is a new documentary film edited by Highland Park native Bradley Ross.
Bradley Ross, 28, a Highland Park native and 2001 graduate of Highland Park High School is one of the producing/creative team behind a new documentary, “Escape Fire: The Fight to Rescue American Healthcare,” premiering today at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
Ross served as editor and co-producer on the film that examines the volatile subject of American healthcare. Directed by Matthew Heineman and Susan Froemke, “Escape Fire” tells dramatic personal stories of leaders in medicine, industry, government and the U.S. military who are working to shake up the status quo and refocus American medicine on prevention and healing.
Now based in New York, Ross got his start in film editing in high school, and starting in his senior year, developed a successful business creating bar/bat mitzvah and wedding videos for North Shore families. He continued his studies and work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and after graduation moved to the east coast to launch a career as a freelance editor and producer.
