HIGHLAND PARK -- Bargain hunters and sale racks lined downtown Highland Park streets last weekend during the Chamber of Commerce’s annual sidewalk sale days.
The July 26-to-Sunday event featured more than 80 Highland Park merchants lining up on Central Avenue and First and Second streets. Sale items ranged from designer clothing and shoes, to home accessories, art work, collectibles, jewelry and toys.
Many of the vendors also took the sale indoors to give shoppers a break from the heat.
