The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Highland Park Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.
Roberto Segura, 21, of the 3000 block of W. Wilson, Chicago, was issued a ticket Friday, Dec. 14, for possession of marijuana after police pulled over a vehicle near Central and St. Johns avenues. Segura was a passenger in the vehicle. He is to appear for an administrative hearing Jan. 17.
Jose Rosas-Cervantes, 29, of the 1600 block of McGovern Ave., Highland Park, was charged Sunday, Dec. 16, with driving while a license was suspended, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without illuminated headlights after a stop near Green Bay Road and Laurel Avenue. His court date is Jan. 9.
