Police blotter for Dec. 18

The following incidents were listed in the official reports of the Highland Park Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest by police does not constitute a finding of guilt; only a court of law can make that determination.

DRUG OFFENSE

Roberto Segura, 21, of the 3000 block of W. Wilson, Chicago, was issued a ticket Friday, Dec. 14, for possession of marijuana after police pulled over a vehicle near Central and St. Johns avenues. Segura was a passenger in the vehicle. He is to appear for an administrative hearing Jan. 17.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

Jose Rosas-Cervantes, 29, of the 1600 block of McGovern Ave., Highland Park, was charged Sunday, Dec. 16, with driving while a license was suspended, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without illuminated headlights after a stop near Green Bay Road and Laurel Avenue. His court date is Jan. 9.
