Metra train delayed more than 2 hours
A Metra Milwaukee District/North Line train was delayed about two and a half hours early Tuesday because of mechanical failure.
Metra train 2159 was scheduled to arrive in Fox Lake from Chicago at 1:59 a.m. but was delayed about two and a half hours, Metra spokeswoman Meg Reile said.
A crew was dispatched with another train that either pushed or pulled the train experiencing mechanical problems, Riele said.
The train was moving again about 4:30 a.m., Reile said.
Other trains on the Milwaukee District/North Line Tuesday morning are not affected, according to Metra’s website.
