The City of Highland Park is working to develop a community brand that will be used to market the city and attract prospective businesses, visitors and residents.
“At the heart of the brand will be its ‘competitive differentiator’ — that special something that makes our community unique so that it may stand out in the marketplace,” said Alyssa Knobel, a Highland Park city council member and former chair of the Business and Economic Development Commission.
The city is inviting residents and other stakeholders to participate in a survey and help shape the “brand” used to set the community apart. The survey is available at www.cityhpil.com/brandingsurvey. Printed surveys will also be available at city hall, the Highland Park Library and the senior center.
Surveys must be completed and submitted by Friday, Nov. 15.
