Jonathan Bilotti of Highland Park participated in the undergraduate commencement ceremonies in May at Western Illinois University. He graduated an honors scholar and majored in law enforcement and justice administration.
Miranda Pettengill of Highland Park graduated from Macalester College on May 12 with a liberal arts degree in classics (Classical Archaeology). Pettengill is a graduate of Highland Park High School and the daughter of Richard Pettengill and Franny Billingsley.
Rachel Steward of Highland Park graduated with honors from Haverford College receiving her degree in biology with a concentration in biochemistry. The 2008 graduate of HPHS is the daughter of Susan Steward and Jerrold Berkowitz.
Cheryl Seligman of Highland Park graduated cum laude May 20 from the University of Rochester with a bachelor of arts degree in mathematics and economics. She is a graduate of Highland Park Hospital and the daughter of Jody and Richard Seligman.

Illinois State University announced the following students from Highland Park receiving degrees: Michael Dahlberg, Jennifer Goldman, Ellen Leving, Fancine Lichten and Eric Unger.
