Highland Park ‘Nutcracker’ performance

Beanstalk Toyland & Bookstore and Sprout Kids will sponsor the Second Annual Ballet Makkai performances of the enchanting “Nutcracker” ballet. Dancers from the Ballet Makkai Youth Company and students of the Irina Makkai Classical Ballet and Dance School, ranging from 3-18 years old, will bring this holiday tale to life at Elm Place Middle School, at 4 p.m. Dec. 1-2
The stores are offering free tickets with any in-store purchase of $50 or more.
Guests are invited to bring their ticket stubs to Beanstalk Toyland & Bookstore, Sprout Kids or Posh Essentials, all on the 600 Block of Central Ave., in downtown Highland Park, for 10 percent off holiday purchases.
