Art is Alive winners

Congratulations to the following art finalists and the high school winner, Isabella Mordini, in the citywide Art is Alive Art Contest. Their artwork was featured at the Highland Park Art Center: Natalie Sereda, Alyssa Smolensky, Kaylee Tuckez, Mackenzie Paulsen, Isabella Mordini, Sara Hall, Deven Greenleaf and Spencer Weiss.

FAFSA completion workshop

Families needing assistance with FAFSA completion are encouraged to attend the FAFSA Completion Workshop at Highland Park High School, 9 a.m.-noon, Saturday, Feb. 9, in Tech Labs A and C. Families are encouraged to obtain a PIN number (for both student and parent) prior to the workshop at http://pin.ed.gov. To ensure completion and submission of the FAFSA, please bring both student and parent 2012 tax forms, driver’s license and Social Security card. If 2012 tax forms are not available, bring 2011 tax forms and 2012 W-2 forms.
