Girls Basketball: Munzer scores 31 in Highland Park’s win over Carmel

Lena Munzer tossed in 31.
Highland Park’s girls basketball team claimed a nonconference win over visiting Carmel 53-49 on Monday night thanks to the play of the junior standout.
Munzer went 10-for-11 at the free-throw line. She also knocked down three three-pointers.
Lizzy LoGrande also had nice game. She scored 13 points. She had two threes.
The Giants will host a solid Niles North team on Friday night (7:30 p.m.).
